What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours from the inspection date, or up to the full cost may be assessed.

Inspectors are blocked out immediately

We block out inspector for the whole day of inspection as soon as the schedule is confirmed with the factory. This is to ensure there are no delays or capacity issues on the day of inspection once we've confirmed the dates.

Booking is finalized 2 days before inspection

We finalize transport tickets, accommodations, and other incidentals (all included in our man-day rate) about 2-3 days in advance to the inspection. This could mean train tickets, taxis, and hotels. Often times these expenses are non-refundable.

Last-minute cancellation fees & processing

When there is a last minute cancellation, we immediately re-assign the inspector to the next best inspection. This is usually not a problem as long as the inspection is cancelled at least a day before. For last-minute cancellations where the inspector is able to be re-assigned and there were non-refundable travel costs incurred, we invoice a flat rate of 50% of the service day.

For day-of cancellations where the inspector could not be rescheduled, we typically must charge up to the cost of the entire day of inspection.
